Does your child like designing, building, experimenting, and solving real life problems with hands-on fun? The Archer Lodge Community Center is proud to host STEM Camp where each day, your child will discover the wonder of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
We will follow The Engineering Design Process that real Engineers use as we Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, and Improve designs. The goal of our STEM camp is to show participants what STEM is all about and how it’s used in everyday life to solve real-world problems.
STEM Camp will be a week long (Monday – Friday) experience, lasting three hours per day. Due to high interest, we will be offering the same camp twice (Weeks of July 23rd and July 30th). To ensure your child is in the appropriate age group, please select the proper grade level. Rising 1st – 3rd graders will be the morning session (9 a.m. – noon) and rising 4th – 6th graders will be the afternoon session (1 p.m. – 4 p.m.).
There are two important steps to register your child:
- Reserve your child’s seat and pay tuition by registering on the Eventbrite site linked below
- Download the health registration form (click for form), complete and bring to your first day of camp
Important notes:
There are only 25 seats per session, available on a first come, first serve basis. Students will not be permitted to participate in camp without a paid reserved seat and a completed health registration form.
