Soccer Registration is Open

Registrations will be accepted through  February 4^th, with on-site registration from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on February 4^th.  Practices will begin on February 20^th.  Games will begin on March 3^rd and conclude on April 14^th.  There will be no games the weekend of April 7^th .  A tournament for the two older age groups will be held on April 21.  We are looking forward to another exciting season!

Our next regular monthly community meeting is Monday, January 23.  We begin with a covered dish meal at 7:00 p.m. and the meeting begins at 7:30.  Please come out and join us and see how you can help volunteer at the Archer Lodge Community Center.

The Archer Lodge Community Center helps sponsor the Corinth Holders High School ROTC.  This Saturday, January 14 from 10 til 1, they will have a hot dog sale, bake sale and car wash at the Archer Lodge Community Center Building.  Please stop by and show your support to this organization.

We will kick the New Year off with our annual New Year’s Day breakfast at 8:30 on January 1, 2012.  Everyone is invited.  Please bring your favorite breakfast dish and enjoy a meal with your neighbors.  Your new Board members and Officers will be introduced.

Our regular monthly community meeting is Monday, November 28 at 7:30.  We will begin with a meal at 7:00 which will be pizza this month.   We do not have a regular monthly meeting in December.  We will kick the New Year off with our annual New Year’s Day breakfast at 8:30 on January 1, 2012.  Please mark your calendar.

The Archer Lodge Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary would like to invite you to the 3rd Annual Archer Lodge Christmas Parade Celebration.

We would like to ask your business, school, church organization or small group to come and be a part of our 3rd Annual Christmas Parade on Sunday, November 27th, 2011 at 3:30pm. Lineup will begin at 2:00pm at the Mulhollem Farm on Buffalo Road. If you are coming from Clayton on Covered Bridge Road, turn right, line up will be in the field on the right (signs will be posted the day of parade). We will start by turning left out of the field onto Buffalo Road and continue through the intersection then bear left to stay on Buffalo Road. We will then turn left onto Archer Lodge Road (in between Church & ball field), then turn left onto Covered Bridge Road followed by a right back onto Buffalo Road.

You would provide your own float or vehicle for the parade and there are NO entry fees for parade participants. We will be having a Best in Show contest for the best dressed float, vehicle, etc., so please decorate your entry to impress the judges. Please return your registration form by November 18, 2011 to be able to assure you have a place in the lineup.

After the parade, please come and join the Community Center and White Oak Baptist Church for a train ride, pictures with Santa, tree lighting ceremony, live nativity, and children’s activities.
