The Archer Lodge Community Auction, held annually on the first Saturday in October is an all day event. Lunch consisting of BBQ pork plates, BBQ sandwiches, hotdogs, Brunswick stew, and homemade desserts is served between 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and the country auction beg ins about 1:30 p.m. The main items auctioned off are crafts, cross-stitching, woodwork, sketches, wreaths, jams and jellies, and produce.
