In order to accommodate the growing number of children registering for our soccer program, we have reworked our field area to allow for more fields. The grass sprigs were planted recently and are very vulnerable at this stage. We ask that no one walks on the fields for at least a few weeks to allow the grass to establish itself so we can have good fields for the fall season. Thank you!

Gates open at 7:00pm, movie begins at dusk
Marissa Stone, our 2015 Little Miss Archer Lodge, is full of ideas and wants to give back to her community. Marissa absolutely loves to watch movies! She enjoys viewing movies both indoor and outside, so why not have the 1st ever Community Movie Night in Archer Lodge?! After a few phone calls, we quickly realized that many individuals and businesses were just as excited as Marissa to the idea of a Back-to-School Outdoor movie night with admission being donations of School Supplies to benefit our own local students and schools. She was able to work with the community to get the event sponsored 100%.
Marissa is also a Junior Girl Scout and her troop (Troop 1859, Johnston County –North Carolina Coastal Pines). She enjoys volunteering with her troop on many community service projects throughout the year like visiting nursing homes, giving thanks to our Archer Lodge Fire Department, and even making bags for children in a Children’s Home. Her troop will be selling concessions at the event to earn money for their Bronze Award Project which they will be completing later in the year. The girls will be working on the details of the project and they don’t want to spoil it just yet. Hint, hint…. It will benefit the Archer Lodge Park and it will be for the entire community to enjoy on their walks.
Fall Soccer Registration will begin July 15, cost $55; late registration will begin August 1, cost $75.
- Games will start on September 19
- Fall Tournament for 6/8 and 9/13 age groups
