Archer Lodge Soccer
We offer Spring and Fall Soccer Leagues for children ages 4-13. Games are played on Saturday mornings for 6 weeks. The Spring season typically starts in March and the Fall season in September.

We also offer a summer Baseball League for children in the area. Things will be different starting with our 2013 season. We now offer the following programs:
- Age 4-5: Intro to t-ball (participation trophies) SATURDAY MORNINGS ONLY
The intention of this program would be to teach the following: the direction of base running, running through first base, touching each base, not throwing the bat, force outs. No coach pitch – strictly hitting off the tee. All players bat and field. Maximum players per team: 7; 2 coaches. (Maximum teams – 6…42 players) COST – $40 - Age 5-6: t-ball (participation trophies) M, T, R (6:15pm ONLY) and SATURDAY MORNINGS
The intention of this program would be to begin teaching techniques with hitting, throwing, and catching and more rules. There would be no coach pitch- again, strictly hitting off the tee. The coaches are free to assist the players with batting stance, etc. and anticipated “plays” (where to go with the ball if it is hit to you…). With this format in place, every child will get a hit; the pace of the game speeds up, which keeps the players more engaged rather than picking daisies and playing in the dirt. There would be a player positioned at the pitchers mound to signal for a pitch prior to the batter hitting the ball off the tee. All players bat, 10 players field. No player sits out more than one inning a game. Entire team hits constitutes ½ an inning. Maximum players per team: 10; 3 coaches. (Maximum teams – 6…60 players) COST – $40 - Age 7-8: Coach Pitch (1st place trophies) T, F (6:15 and 7:15 pm) SATURDAYS (9 and 10 am)
The intention of this program would be to prepare the players for kid pitch. Each batter is allowed a maximum of 6 pitches but no more than 3 swings. In this league, players may strike out. 10 players field. No player sits out more than one inning a game. 3 outs or 5 runs scored constitutes ½ an inning. Maximum players per team: 12; 4 coaches. (Maximum teams – 6…72 players) COST – $50
Parent volunteers for umpires. - Age 9-10: Kid Pitch (1st place trophies) M, R (6:15 pm ONLY) SATURDAYS (11am and 1pm)
The intention of this program would be an introduction to “real” baseball. Maximum number of players per team: 12; 3 coaches. (Maximum teams – 4…48 players) COST – $65
Paid umpires. ** The Community Center might be teaming up with the Town of Wendell for this age group. If we don’t have enough teams in house, Wendell is going to work with us to allow us to play them some. **
Games are played from Mid-May to late June. Come and see the kids play at the park and grab a hot dog or two!
